cl_interp .0152

a tip for tf2 never put cmdrate and updaterate above 66 if your playing on valve servers
valve servers run at a tic rate of 66 so setting theres numbers above 66 will flood your connection and cause choke and paket loss
trash Feb 3, 2018 @ 1:55pm
do you people know what those settings are doing

cl_cmdrate 67
cl_updaterate 67
use these
servers are ~66tick

cl_interp 0 http://defaults to server single tick time
cl_interp_ratio 2 http://multiplies interp value
total interp of like ~30ms
anything less than 2 server frames is too low to cover for even single packet drops
leave interp at 0 and use ratio 2/3/4 depending on net quality, lower is better, increase value for more interp on bad connections

rate can be basically anything over ~60-80k and anything higher is basically useless
just not 8m because that's stupid
