Metaphors exist for a reason, and no one gets it but I tried

Walk away from the computer for a bit.
Probably it's copying the contents of the update to your hard drive, just wait.

Clear your download cache. It'll help!

1. Click on View at the top left corner of your Steam window.
2. Click on Settings in the drop-down menu.
3. In the Settings window, select Downloads at the middle left.
4. Once you are at the Downloads tab, click on Clear Download Cache. Remember that you'll have to log-in again once Steam finishes clearing the cache and restarts itself.

I'm the only one here who isn't an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and is actually HELPING

3 years later this is of great use to me. Was stuck on 91 mb, cleared the cache, instantly resolved the problem. Thanks
