Can you add a skin to a strange weapon?

The way warpaint works is when you use it it creates an entirely new weapon from nothing,
the only way I guess you could get a strange and skinned weapon is if you also use a strangifier on it

They removed the ability to use strangifiers a while back because people were using them to make strange high tier MK.II skinned Airstrikes.
