The new short circuit is horrible .
It use 65 metal to shoot a ball that only travel short distance , do 15 damage and no critical hit , what the hell , thise weapon is another meme weapon , the old one was better in the hand of skilled engineer .

Tbh this does the same thing, just needs a cart or dispenser to sustain it.

I haven't used the new short circuit yet and so I could be entirely wrong but it sounds like you need some degree of accuracy to use it effectively

Even if it hit still do 15 damages for a very high cost , why bother using it when you have Wrangler .
And no , it no longer destroy projectile .

The new short circuit is broken, right click hitboxes of is too big, you sit near dispenser or payload and spam it hitting multiple enemies multiple times and disabling demo and soldier.
The hitboxes of right click need to be smaller end engi can't get metal from dispenser and payload while active will fix it.

Thought this was Team Fortress 2, guess I’m fighting solo as a class that isn’t particularly good at solo engagements.

And how are you wasting 3 balls just to get rid of 3 stickies? Realistically, a ball will last enough to stop two rockets or pipes fired consecutively. They’d need to space it out, and in the time it takes to deplete those 3 balls, you’d either need to relocate by then or your team would have pushed up.

theoretically, if aim correctly you can shut down a rapid firing crit robot soldier so yea. Its kinda decent in mvm now.
(which means a future MvM update is coming).

You Fortress 2*. Actual useful teammates are rare, specially if you are playing engi, where people think you can handle yourself because your sentry is doing the killing for you and sll you need to do is repair and guard it. Besides, in a demo situation, the demoman will most likely activate the stickies once he lays 3 of them (because 3 is enough to do the job) and even if not, he can shoot 3 more and make 2 last attempts to at least damage it, and the engi will have used all the metal by now by either shooting the ball or repairing the sentry. Then the demo gets his last chance by laying pipes while the engi is grabbing metal. On a soldier situation, unless hes using the beggar's (and if the projectile angle is lucky for him), the engi will rarely be able to one shot two rockets. A good soldier controls his rocket output and dont just spam (pheh, ive seen plenty of them who prove me wrong), so he will wait for the engi to run out of metal.

This one is better than the old version.

A.) It protects against spam better, because instead of one shot instantly destroying the rockets that are close to you and not the ones far away, the ball destroys everything while the projectiles are moving toward you

B.) The range of it is much farther now, it used to be that they'd be 2 - 3 oil barrels away from you for it to lock onto them. Now, the projectile can go the distance of the 2fort bridge, which is about 10 oil barrels.

C.) It requires better positioning and has a much higher reward feeling. Instead of mindlessly spamming mouse 2 for the weapon to aim for you, you have to put more thought into it, and it feels much more rewarding to see the ball vaporize anything in its path, which actually has a higher chance of people using it more.

I'd just say it needs a 25% damage buff so it does 20 damage instead of 15
