TF2 Crashes when i click find a game

Everytime i start tf2, it starts without problems... But in menu, when i click find a game, it simply crashes to desktop.. Anyone knows the solution?

Try going into the local files (right click TF2 on the side, go to properties, local files, browse local game files) and moving the "custom" folder out of the tf folder (i put mine on the desktop) i was able to find a game no problem now, so I think it has to do with custom hud or sound files.

awe
i combined it with uninstalling and reinstalling the game so try doing both of those
and make sure you don't put the custom folder back

also make sure it isn't the "my_custom_stuff" folder, it has to be the entire custom folder

if your game crashes whenever you click its because you have unbinded your shooting when you click that was how i fixed it

Dude, I have no idea how tf you figured that out but I checked my binds and the fire key was set to "enter" for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason. I changed it back to Mouse1 restarted my computer and it worked, thanks for the tip !
