Stock by a landslide. SR only offers slightly better traps at the cost of completely cutting your primary means of damage output, QBL is a weak knockoff rocket launcher that can destroy stickies.

I'd say stock, but for memes, I use Sticky Jumper alongside the Pan. Also, stickyspamming is hard for me to pull off, even though some people complain about it.

QBL isn't a spamming weapon.

Quickiebomb Launcher for me. It's flexible and you can pull off some cool stuff with it that you can't pull off with Stock. The stronger charged shots can also be used for traps which makes it even more flexible. I don't remember the rocket launcher being able to do that, ay?

No. Not just as much as Stock. If anything, QBL is one of the least spammiest stickybomb launchers for Demoman. Even Scottish Resistance is more spammy, you can just spam it on objectives, payload, you don't have to aim as carefully with it as you do with QBL. QBL doesn't have the high clip size or the base damage to be considered as a spammy weapon while Stock and Scottish Resistance do. Scottish Resistance even has higher fire rate and can have more active stickies at a time.

QBL's effictiveness comes from its fast charge, bonus damage from charging, and emergency close-combat situations.

No. Not just as much as Stock. If anything, QBL is one of the least spammiest stickybomb launchers for Demoman. My bad for not noticing it’s stats had been changed from the spam fest it used to be, but looking at its new stats I’ll maintain it is the worst sticky launcher, even if only because the other two real ones are so much better and versatile in 99% of cases.

I've topscored by spamming with Scottish Resistance. Multiple times. Someone hasn't been playing on payload and attack defense in a while I see.

Isn't the QBL way more versatile? It sacrifices base-DPS for flexibility. It can be used in way more situations than every other stickybomb launcher. It's just not as good at sustaining as stock is. At least QBL can be used for direct combat, it can be used for anything really. Compare that to scottish resistance which is only good for traps or vomiting over the objective, and good luck if you try using it for close-combat, and stock which is nowhere near as good when it comes to sticky sniping and dealing with chasers.

As a matter of fact attack defense is my most played game mode, I just suppose I somehow was matched with regular people and your match was full of bots on easy difficulty who don’t know how to remove a sticky before it’s armed, weird how that works eh?
Stock is more reliable, it has consistent damage and does not rely on charge up gimmicks. As for CQC, I like to think I can hit a pill, or alternatively not take self-damage and go melee, something that unless you’re against a pyro, is better than spamming stickies and harming yourself.
