Game crashes in Fullscreen mode
For some reason, for a few weeks now I can only load into maps in windowed mode. If I switch into fullscreen after having loaded into the game I can play normally, but as icing on the cake, my game also crashes when I switch from fullscreen to windowed, so I´m sure you can see how this is annoying. Would be great if any of you have had the same problem and were able to fix it, I contacted support already and they couldn´t help.

Background:

Nothing changed, I played the game on this computer for months before it happened

Seems to be RAM-related (from what Support told me) but there´s nothing wrong with it according to windows

I have the exact same problem in csgo, minus the crash when switching from fullscreen to windowed

I have already deleted the custom files, that didn´t change anything

Any help would be appreciated

Verify the game cache
Or turn off the discord d overlay

Put -windowed into your game launch options. It should fix it.

I can change into windowed ingame no problem, but I´d like to play in fullscreen. I feel like that´s not too much to ask for

Okay that's doable. Put -windowed -noborder -w [your screens width] -h [your screens height] into your launch options. This launches you game in borderless windowed mode, but looks exactly like full screen.
It also has the added benefit of being able to switch to other windows very quickly. It may do a slight hit to your FPS if you have alot of windows open, or alot of stuff on your home screen.

Yeah but then I have to play on the highest resolution possible, which is like 2000 something times 1490 I think, resulting in me having about 20 fps

If you change your monitors resolution using your computers settings you can change it to whatever you want. I'm not sure how though, go look it up
