[MASTERCOMFIG] How do i make my player 3d in my hud?

I've installed mastercomfig low but i dont want my class in the bottom left to be a picture, i want to see my hats or see my enemy's hats (spy). I've put cl_hud_playerclass_use_playermodel 1 in my autoexec (deleted all graphic commands and left binds so it wont mess with the comfig) but still it's a 2d image. I need to put it in the console everytime i launch the game.

My Question is: how do i make it so that everytime i launch game it's 3d player model in hud?

The "mastercomfig" config is a vpk config btw.

All you have to do is go into advanced options and enable use player class model lol there's no need for all that complicated stuff

that's the same thing as putting "cl_hud_playerclass_use_playermodel 1" in the console, when you quit the game and launch again it resets to stock 2d image of class.

You need to find "cl_hud_playerclass_use_playermodel 0" in your config file and delete it. Ctrl-F is your friend here.

"mastercomfig" config file is a vpk... not a cfg.... i've looked for it in my autoexec but nothing, i searched for it in other cfgs but haven't found one. My friend that installed the mastercomfig also has that 2d player on his hud. I do not know how to edit vpk configs. Surprisingly this vpk config works on valve servers.

put it in custom.cfg.

Well when I delete it from my cfg folder I cant launch tf2
Ive also tried setting it to 1 and it doesnt work either.

You can actually edit the VFX of mastercomfig by opening it with a program like Notepad++, I did it myself to change the gib settings.

go to cfg then make a folder called "user" in "user" create a cfg file called "game_overrides.cfg" then paste "cl_hud_playerclass_use_playermodel 1" (I know it's a lil late but whatever)
