Team Fortress 2
W+M1 Heavy
I've never really seen anyone talk about them. It always seem to be something about pyro being a bad class for doing what they're made to do. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Forum, what's your thoughts about the W+M1 Heavy?

Well considering he's slow af unlike pyro and pyro can deal a hell of a lot more damage it's pretty ok imo

Heavies slow, requires some amount of tracking and can’t completely nullify 2 classes primaries from dealing damage. He also doesn’t completely screen your vision when he’s firing.

Depends on what you mean by "W+M1". If his only way of playing is just those 2 keys then it's not that effective. Jumping and briefly pressing M2 every once in a while would be much more effective.

Wm1 is incredibly effective. The class tied for 3rd on movement speed with a power jack to go faster whenever they want can easily deal 150 damage by spazzing out their mouse and allowing 1 particle to touch the enemy and they’re dead.

Heavy doesn't have the mobility that pyro has. He can't keep up with enemies to constantly minigun them down. If he could, the community would rage. I managed to do something like that in a modded server with the hookshot and the brass beast. People were REALLY not happy about that.

I was talking about Heavy, but the points you made about Pyro are pretty accurate.

The key difference between Pyro and Heavy is Heavy takes skill.

Heavy requires tracking and way more situational awareness then Pyro. So he can't just throw his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse threw a window Everytime he sees an enemy.

What is there to think about, it is the Heavys job to push and engage close to mid range targets. No class uses solely W to move about and of course they are going to use M1 to engage.
Ive always felt the W+M1 is just a petty insult, when it reality you are obviously going to get in your optimal range then strafe.

Note: I am well aware that there is no shortage of pyros actually lacking the ability to push anything but W+M1 before dying. Speaking from a more skilled point.

Heavy W+m1 is fine as he's not slippery at all, and is not annoying to play against (unless you're a full-on Pyro main or a bad player; which both go hand-in-hand together tbh).

Heavy takes skill. Pyro doesn't.
