How to emote in tf2

I'm a noob in team fortress 2 so I want to know how to emote.

No problem, you can also buy taunts, and then equip them in your loadout.

Now to activate this, press g, then a menu will pop up showing your taunts, press the number that has the taunt you want to use.

But if you wanted to just do a normal taunt,(i.e Taunt kill, etc.) press g again and it'll work.
