TF2's Cancelled SFM Television Show

An expose on Valve's inane and plainly unprofessional relationship with Adult Swim caused by Valve's utter contempt for cooperation and lack of respect for fans.

My take:

Imagine being so arrogant that you can't work professionally with others and their standards and have so little respect for your fans that you just cancel anything that seems like an inconvenience. Valve's neglectfulness has always been disgusting but at this point it just seems downright malicious and I can't fathom anyone genuinely liking Valve as a developer anymore, even other companies and developers are becoming irritated at Valve's reclusive nature and spoiled child approach to cooperation, as illustrated in this video with their frankly appalling relationship with [adult swim].

honestly didn't make me as mad as i thought it would. just strengthened my belief that valves work system is outdated and that it doesn't work when dealing with hundreds of workers

this, it's plain to see that most of these problems were caused by their poor management

Even the wiki points out that Expiration Date was going to be an AS pilot but they missed the deadline by several months.

Frankly Adult Swim's content is hit or miss anyways so I doubt it would've gone far.

difference there is that valve weren't forced to follow rules and regulations since it's content made on their own platform, not for adult swims platform

thinking about it the miscs + hats he mentioned i'm pretty sure was supposed to be connected to the tf2 tv show, a way of introducing adult swim to our community for the upcoming show
