At the 36th minute the tfc heavy dies, and we see miss pauling doing his speech. Now, look closer, the medic is holding a baby monkey that apparently popped out of nowhere.
Maybe a character that has been cutted out the final plot?

Or it's probably a hint that medic's plan after he betrays the team has to do with monkeys.

the medic planted a baboon fetus into the tfc heavy and that baby monkey he's holding is from that fetus which he remotely activated...because why wouldn't he? The plot hole is not the baboon's origins, but how he got it out of the tfc heavy...

The medic's that fast and possibly able to stop time for a few seconds to make him equal to the scout. Either way, he's not as physically weak and incapable as he pretends to be. The fact that the heavy thought that the medic was bluffing is supposed to hint towards this.

We're talking about a man who sold his soul for a pen and ended up getting the good end of the deal. I think he could manage
