almost all of the functioning commands from chrisconfig days are shared between every config variant out there
mastercomfig is the most thorough and comprehensive out of the newer stuff but makes a lot of back end changes that might require a bit of reading to learn how stuff is handled
if you're looking to take customization seriously, it's probably what you should go with
otherwise just grabbing something more traditional like comanglia and autoexecing it is fine for casual use unless you're looking for the absolute maximum performance
