When in lore can't the spy attack while invisible?

Spytech went bankrupt after Poopy Joe dies in a tragic accident. So in the lore, cloak and sappers are very limited for Spy.

The spy’s invisibility watches are experimental technolagy(and the cloak and dagger specifically costs like 5 bucks canonically so they must be pretty cheap to make) which means the cloak itself is most likely unstable and delicate which is why it flickers when hit by enimies projectiles or bullets so a sudden movement like the spy swinging his knife or the recoil from a gun would cause his cloak to flicker, most likely more severely since its happening from inside the cloak rather than an outside force.

Based on that logic, Spy would not be able to see at all while using cloak because light would go through his eyes instead of colliding into it and get processed into what he is looking at.

Well it is called a cloak, so the spy himself isn’t see through there’s just a holographic image surrounding him that makes him unable to be seen

Try developing a cloaking device without being able to see it. Also you might accidentally invisible THE EARTH and thats no good.
