New Scam is Very Sneaky

There is this New method around that almost Got me, What happens is that Somebody adds you and asks you to Join their Competitive TF2 group, They then HyperLink a Scam website as a UGC Highlander one, and then it asks for your Steam Code and everything to eventually give the guy direct access to your account. I was so close to falling for this. So Im telling everyone right now. Its glad knowing Scammers are actually trying to be original.

I'm embarrassed to admit but they almost got me the other day too. This phishing scam is active and targeting TF2/DOTA2 players.

They can't send you a direct message unless you accept their friend request. So, yes, the safest bet is to not accept requests from strangers.

actually they can if they share the same group with you, happend to me multiple times
