Festivizing a Buff Banner
I recently picked up a festivizer, intending to use it on my strange Buff Banner- only to find that, for some odd reason, I can't apply it. I know the Festive BB exist, as I've seen it countless times in MvM and casual play- but I've been lead to believe you can only obtain it via unboxing? I'd appreciate help.

Only unboxed. It's not a weapon that the war paint can be applied to.

Yes, it was only available from the retired Naughty Winter Crate from 2012

Festivized and Festive weapons are different. Festive weapons are unboxed from crates (probably smissmas ones i think) and Festivized weapons are the ones that have had a festivizer applied.
Only some weapons can be Festivized, and only some weapons can have a Festive variant.
Like how there's no Festive Tomislav but you can Festivize one.

There's a difference between FESTIVE and FESTIVIZED

Festive ones look better with prettier lights and can only be found in crates. (i think), you can't make a FESTIVE weapon yourself.

You can put a festivizer and make it FESTIVIZED, it's not the same. Also some weapons can't be festivized.
