I cant counter Sticky Spam

Title. I've been in a few Casual matches where a Demoman has had a Medic (Uber or Kritz) pocketing him, and he has been spamming Stickies all the time. I havent found an effective counter against them yet.

Does anyone have any tips on how to counter this, aside from finding a new server?

Does that work when the sticky is flying through the air? I've never been able to get the timing right, if it does.

How about rocket jumping on his face? Speaking of soldier, the Battalion's Backup banner would also grant you 35% resistence against kritz, that's pretty good for both yourself and your team since you can just spam rockets to build it up (assuming that you're playing in a casual setting).

you have to be litterally right up in his face for sticky spam to work. soldiers a direct counter.

Arming time is too quick for that to be effective. I also dont think you can shoot them out of the air unless you're using the Short Circuit.

When he has us pushed back to Spawn, and also has the high ground, it gets a little hard to Soldier. Additionally, the Medic always hangs back, making killing the Medic really hard to kill. Unless you're using the Direct Hit, the damage output won't be sufficient to counter the Medic healing him.

Step 1: Play Scout

Step 2: Use your mobility to get behind him

Step 3: Start running towards him but don't shoot at him or get his attention in any way until you're as close as possible

Step 4: Shoot two Scattergun shots directly into his back and he's dead.

Extra Step: If he has a Medic, follow these steps but shoot two Scattergun shots directly into his Medic's back, and he's dead. Then immediately shoot at least 3 Scattergun shots directly into the overhealed Demoman's back, and he's dead too.
