Are unusual weapons with the energy orb effect still possible to find anywhere?

Are they? I've heard it's still possible to get them from certain old cases, but I'm not sure about this. I'm not fully sure if they are in the game anymore. If they are, is there any on, for example, the market?

No they are not longer possible to get from any cases but they can still be traded.

It's actually not because of a bug. It's because the effect just doesn't fit with melee weapons so they scrapped it all together.

From what I've heard it was because valve couldn't get the effect to fit melee weapons properly. Still I believe it should be made available again from the gun mettle crates atleast.
