I cannot and WILL NOT sympathize with folks jumping on a trend and then using that trend as a shield for disgusting behavior.
EDIT: grammar
Just because they failed to disguise themselves doesn't mean that they are innocent. It just means they are dumb. It's like trying to rob a bank and not putting a mask over your head.
On topic, aside from comp TF2 just not being in a good place to begin with before this all happened, this kills comp TF2 just as much as the Mechawreck scandal killed every TF2-related thing that he was associated with. Which is, not at all; it just shows that that you can find messed up people anywhere if you look hard enough because this world is just messed up in general.
Did my messages somehow signal i'd call nursey "a damn tr*nny" or something?
Just so we're 100% clear with everyone who may still be confused;
no, that's not the case. Never ever meant or even said that.
My whole point was to just not care wether or not they (people who do very bad things) want to be called the gender they do want to be called as. They did a very horrible thing, and I don't want to think wether or not my words (words as in he instead of she - not any phobic slurs) may hurt them.
Having gender dysphoria ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS - I've seen it from a friend.
And I don't mind calling a person with the condition whatever they want to be called. That's fine, if it makes you feel any better, sure. The least I can do.
I still think it's dangerous either way, pushing hard on using their preferred pronouns is p authoritarian and being hardcore on not using their preferred pronouns, well you're just being a lil ♥♥♥♥.
Extremes on both ends are pretty bland & uncool and I don't think anyone really disagrees with that.
