The point isn't about protecting pedos since you're insulting them all the same for calling them out as such, but to make sure you don't hit anyone else in the collateral. Using transphobic slurs to call out a pedo doesn't demean the pedo any more than just calling them out for pedophilia does, but it just implies that trans people in general are also pedophiles. I'm sure that it was never your intention to begin with, but it's just better not to tar an entire group with one brushstroke just to get at one person. It doesn't undo the crime already committed, and it doesn't condemn Nursey any further.

On topic, aside from comp TF2 just not being in a good place to begin with before this all happened, this kills comp TF2 just as much as the Mechawreck scandal killed every TF2-related thing that he was associated with. Which is, not at all; it just shows that that you can find messed up people anywhere if you look hard enough because this world is just messed up in general.

Just so we're 100% clear with everyone who may still be confused;
no, that's not the case. Never ever meant or even said that.

My whole point was to just not care wether or not they (people who do very bad things) want to be called the gender they do want to be called as. They did a very horrible thing, and I don't want to think wether or not my words (words as in he instead of she - not any phobic slurs) may hurt them.

Having gender dysphoria ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS - I've seen it from a friend.
And I don't mind calling a person with the condition whatever they want to be called. That's fine, if it makes you feel any better, sure. The least I can do.
I still think it's dangerous either way, pushing hard on using their preferred pronouns is p authoritarian and being hardcore on not using their preferred pronouns, well you're just being a lil ♥♥♥♥.
Extremes on both ends are pretty bland & uncool and I don't think anyone really disagrees with that.
