What's the best way to get cosmetics for dirt cheap!?

Buy a key. Trade it for 37.88 refine, then buy cheap cosmetics for 1.11-1.22

Or if you don't want to spend money, craft some metal from weapons and then trade it for cosmetic.

There are also hat drops but I have almost 2500 hours in tf2 and have only ever gotten two drops

If you have at least 2 ref do this. Go to scrap.tf, log in with steam. Go to banking -> hat banking -> pick a bot -> go to craft hats, and there you’ll see every hat there is sold for 1.22 ref. BUT some of them are actually worth 1.33-1.44. If you find one go to backpack.tf, look it up, and see if anyone’s buying one for that price. If they are, buy it with 1.22 and sell it for 1-2 scrap more. If not, keep looking. If you’re poor this works pretty well.

well u cant give them 42c techinally yes the team captain is worth 42c but u would more have to pay ya know 2.00 euro on steam community market then sell the key for ref then you could get sooooo much cool stuff like team cpatains taunts killstreaks stranges its not that much so id highly recommend putting 2.00 euro in this free game

u cant give 42c to marketplace.tf last time i checked but maybe idk
