I spectate sometimes. So I don't think so.

I think they removed it in Casual/Comp since teams are fixed aside from voluntary autobalance. Community still has them enabled however.

If you're talking about Valve servers (casual and competitive), then yes, it's "unavailable", but not removed. But you can spectate on most community servers.
well that's ♥♥♥♥. can't even spectate suspicious people on pubs

You almost hit 4000 hours, you should be able to figure out if someone's hacking without spectator.

Spectating is a useful ingame feature to see if that sniper is being twitchy and shooting into the sky.

Yeah well, at least there's still cloak and dagger.

but if the hacker is in your team? and he is hiding it well enough for enemy team to detect it?

I do hope people realize that Spectator was used to camp out and wait to join the winning team FAR more than its crutch use in maybe being able to tell if the 150 point sniper spinning and looking in the air is MAYBE hacking.

since you can't change the team unless the game offers to do so, they could at least add the spectators mode to check suspicious players

But Cloak and Dagger.

And common ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense.

Even the best snipers won't be consistantly hitting cloaked spies, unpredictable scouts, jumping soliders, etc and be scoring more than the rest of their team combined

You can spectate him while you respawn, or just go near him and look what he does. Really, spotting a hacker is easy. If they wear cheap/f2p cosmetics and they're top scoring like 30 points more than the unusual soldier they're most likely hacking, and seriously, if they hit impossibly difficult headshots more than once they're clearly hacking, unless they're wearing unusuals and miss once or twice.
