What would be the number for the lowest possible graphics with r_rootlod and r_lod? I am trying to get more fps.

r_rootlod controls model detail, -2 being the highest and 2 being the lowest. r_lod controls the distance you are away from something before it turns down the polygons/texture detail

I knew someone would say that. But October 2017 isn't that long ago if you think about it.. It was only Jungle Inferno
I know this Is 4 years late but does r_rootlod permanently affect model detail?

what do you mean by permanent? settings changes are always reversible
rootlod is the baseline model quality, nothing will be higher quality than whatever you set it to, but if you're using r_lod -1, they can still drop to an even lower quality
Bumped to ask if "r_rootlod -10" does something

and how should I go about putting it in the steam launch options? with + or - ?
