literally no one is going to do that for 150 xp.
It also might be because people think you're not supposed to play seriously because the name of mode is "casual"
Anyway, there's not much to do to fix this. We can only hope that upcoming update will fix Casual, and now we can just play on community servers in hope for a good matches.
Casual TF2 is basically like playing with your friends in casual sports games in the park. You're basically allowed to do whatever you want despite your friends yelling at you.
Except that's wrong. Just because you're an EA doesn't mean that you can randomly decide whether or not a comparison is accurate.
Playing as intended =/= playing competitively
The point is that you haven't explained how they aren't alike at all. I can state that the Earth is at the center of the solar system, but that doesn't mean that it's true.
This. They could've chosen any other name, but no, they went with that word and the various stigmas it carries.
I remember hating it since it usually threw me or my friend on separate teams, so we always had to look for a chanse to join the other team.
However, now when you can actually form a party, autobalance could work better if it would keep the party together.
There are community servers made for non-serious game. Playing normally does not mean that you're playing competitively; on normal servers, you aim for objective, but you don't need to be 100% organized or serious about it. Competitive is aimed for players who eant serious game and aim for winning to get reward.
It would be nice if the friendly players would keep to their containment servers. The worst is playing an actually well-organized game of Gorge, for example, and suddenly some spycrab joins your team and expects the rest to follow suit and gets mad when they don't.
