How to make damage numbers add up?

I'm new to the game and its really fun. But, I notice that the damage I do doesn't add to one number. So, I went into options and changed it so they do add up. And it only did it for certain classes. How do I make all the damage I do for every class add up?

I've tryed the hud_combattext_batching 1 and went in the options but it hasn't done anything

If hud_combattext_batching 1 isn't working then keep it but add this hud_combattext_batching_window 100
