Crosshair not showing

I recently got back into TF2 when the Jungle update launched and before then, i had a custom hud called ToonHud installed. I assumed when the update released that ToonHud would not be compatible so i removed it from my folder.

All my HUD elements work fine, except i cannot see my crosshair whenever i enter a match. Every single time i have to enter the console command "crosshair 1" so that i can see my crosshair, but after im done playing for the day, it doesn't save so i have to do it all over again.

Any help is appreciated, and if anyone has info on if Toon Hud got updated or not, that would help as well. Thanks.
