Should scout needs a nerf?
first im going to tell about the Advantage
+ Scout has one of the highest damage output on close range and moderate damage to medium range
+ Scout is the best carry class in the game
+ VERY ANNOYING

Now the Disadvantage
- Moderate HP [125]
- Quite high skillcap Class
Now i need comment on you guys to think that is the scout overpowered? should it get the nerf it deserved?

no scout isnt op and he really isnt good for carrying teams, and if you cant kill a scout and you really think he needs a nerf, take it up with valve

Nice grammer.

Scout exhibits too much potential at higher level, the average casual player will not be able to understand why you say scout needs a nerf.

While scout needs a SLIGHT nerf, scout as a class is not OP, because scout currently still does not outshine medic & demoman completely.

A better solution is to buff all specialists (pyro/heavy/engineer) to generalist level (scaling the level required accordingly as well).

Sniper should remain an off-class, but can be used half the time, whenever after a teamfight, or mobility is the least of concern. Permanent sniper promotes defensive playstyle that no one wants to witness.

Spy (if buffed to generalist) will not be the ‘spy’ people are used to, it will no longer be about cloak/disguise/behind enemy lines, but about dps & mobility. A tweak like giving spy intel about enemy or some form of stealth mechanism can be considered.

Finally, notice that I said scout did not overshadow demoman & medic, that is because these 2 classes have unique abilities that are vital to a team.

Soldier does not, and scout has often been seen as superior. A SLIGHT buff will allow soldier to not be the weakest generalist that he currently is.

Please alert me if you feel that I am wrong in anyway.

Real talk, I think scout should get some kind of change, seeing how he has been indirectly buffed few times.

IMO the Demo nerf was the biggest indirect buff what Scout got.
I might be wrong myself, but partially reverting it (not full revert, since game has changed a lot after that nerf) would be good indirect nerf IMO

Scout indeed is not OP.

Scout however does carry a team (alongside sniper/demoman if you are talking about HL) the hardest at high levels.

OP is valid in what was witnessed, this is what scout can do at high levels, afterall natural mobility on top of hitscan 6 clip high dps weapon defines the best dm class.

Reverting the air-detonation is alright imo.

Reverting the radius of stickybombs is not conducive imo.

Scout dose not need a nerf because u need to have good aim and practise and scout all ready had a nerf to his sandman
Walter Nov 10, 2017 @ 2:50am
The best class for carrying intel is a soldier with gunboats (and maybe liberty launcher)

It's way faster than a scout.
Ally Nov 10, 2017 @ 2:52am
He doesn't need a nerf most classes just need a slight buff

If you feel steamrolled by Scouts, I would consider using the Natasha as heavy, and keeping a mind's eye on the side that you won't be looking at. You'll help the rest of the team out by slowing down the scout in question, which is also a literal tip of using the Natascha when loading into a game.

0.o bringing out unlocks wont solve the issue. Scout has the most banned items btw in 6s, yet is still the so dominant.

Mad milk for instance will still allow scout to decimate the natascha heavy.
