Team Fortress 2
In terms of new inspect animations. Spy got the ♥♥♥♥ end of the stick.
The new inspect animations for spy are the most lazy and uncreative inspect animations there are in the entire game. Yes even the sandvich has better inspects. Why do i think this?

The Sapper inspect is pretty much like 5 keyframed poses which dont even end up looking that good. They dident even include the dial on the sapper moving.

The Non-stock (except The Sharp Dresser) inspect animations are pretty much just the stock butterfly knife inspect animations but with some finger movements added to make it "unique" But otherwise they are the exact same animations.

The ONLY special thing spy got with inspect animations is The Sharp Dresser having 2 animations. 1 being him just holding up the knife to his "face" and 2 being a looping inspect of him sheathing and unsheathing the knife in and out of his sleeve. I'm pretty sure this is the only weapon in the game that has 2 inspects. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The whole point of inspect is to inspect your weapon, not your hands.

If the inspect allows you to see a large majority of your weapon, then its a fine inspect.

yes but even that doesnt mean you shouldn't put any effort in. They could have made special unique animations for non-stock knives and actually make the dial move when inspecting the sapper.

Also Gunslinger and fists are essentially hand inspects.

The gunslinger is a weapon... Certainly more interesting to look at than solid color cartoon hands.

They could of entirely skipped out on anding inspect for all weapons, so be happy that they added any.

Actually a lot of the animations they "added" were already in the game since Gun mettle and they only enabled inspecting all weaponry. The rest of the new animations are just there for "future proofing" As they hopefully will add skins onto the rest of the weapons. (The current selection is quite dissapointing as it doesnt include many of the weapons i would actually want skinned)
Still they could have spend an few extra hours on making the knife inspect more then just an copy paste of the stock knife inspect. Making animations isn't hard.
