UNFAIR NERF TO GLOVES OF RUNNING URGENTLY
1-english is not my main language so any grammar errors,please tell me 2-if you disagree with me,tell your opinion instead of arguing on my own melle weapons have 2 purposes fighting or sacrificing it in trade of some advantage,and GRU fitted on the second position very welll untill jungle inferno update came out and changing it,the change was removing the old payoff and adding a drain hp system that destroyed the wepon,becouse before the nerf GRU was perfectly balanced and had a purpose that was sending you to batlle without needing an enginner,and the penalty was unable to use it in combat,fair and balanced,now the weapon is bad at sending you in battle and its still bad at combat,so basiclly valve destroyed the purpose of the weapon making it useless,and to fix that its just revert the weapon to its previous stats (like they did for claideh mòr)or making the hp drain slower so it can be more viable,and if valve dosn't fix this weapon in the next update we will have a new worst heavy melle

Yeah because giving a class whos weakness is a slow speed, a free speed boost with almost no downside is completely fair.

I mean, there was no reason NOT to use it, a free speed boost for doing nothing on the slowest class to get the battle more quickly was too good of a weapon choice.

They could have extended the marked for death time longer, have it do less damage, make you take more damage or anything else besides ruining the weapon, the nerf was semi-needed but unreasonable

The entire point of the nerf was to give it an actual downside. Not being a good melee weapon wasn't a downside, since if you noticed, the best melee unlocks were the ones that offered utility while having downsides that made them worse as melee weapons.

Still not good enough.

This just makes heavy 300 health as usual since he will have overheal

Less damage doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter. When's the last time you reasonably pulled out stock melee or any melee for the sole purpose of dealing damage outside of stupid ♥♥♥♥ like melee only modes? Longer mark time is also fairly moot. Just put the gloves away earlier. You still cover more distance than if you had used anything else without any discernible drawbacks. Taking more damage is also moot. No one ever pulled GRU out when in a situation where they would have taken damage unless they were at the point where the mini-crit wouldn't make much of a notable difference.

I'm happy for th nerf, makes it have a actual downside thaan waiting for three seconds.

for those that say that the other downside wasnt a downside its a lie becouse i know a lot of heavy players that prefer other melles,that prove to us that sacrificing your melle is a downside

I'd like to add isn't the GRU a little buggy? It said that it drains max health by 10hp per second, but when you pull it out, it immediately drains your health from 300 to 280? Weird.
The nerf to the GRU was sorta justified, I just have a problem with this bug and the regeneration rate.

Pre-update GRU would immediately cut your HP from 300 to 222 or 450 to 333, and remove damage falloff - and you would get this for 5 seconds after switching. Minicrits sting, yo, eating a single rocket with it pre-update could easily wipe your overheal.

It's actually better for rotations while being more limited for rollouts.
