Can you craft a strange Bonk Helm?

I have tried to buy a strange Bonk Helm, but it looks like it's a little too expensive according to the listings. The hat originally needed to craft it (the Batter's Helm) does not have a strange variant. How can a strange Bonk Helm be obtained not through trading?

There's a specific recipe used to craft a Bonk Helm, and you cant craft it through standard headgear crafts. Are you sure?

You can never craft special quality items that aren’t unique, with some exceptions like the HHHH

You can't craft with the Batter's helmet, apparently. Obtained it from the Market and it had a little mini-disclaimer saying "Not usable in crafting," so even if you have it and 2 Bonk's, it's useless.

The Batter's Helmet comes "Uncraftable" when it was bought in the Store years ago. Hence why we have "Craftable" hats, and "Uncraftable" hats, even on hats that are fully "Craftable"
