So uh about Goomba Stomping.

If you haven't noticed yet, the Goomba Stomping mechanic from the Mantreads was accidently applied to every class in the recent "Thermal Thruster fix". It also changes the falling sounds so you can hear whizzing when you pick up falling speed.

Now I dont know about you, but I hope Valve KEEPS this. I mean its a really fun mechanic that unfortunately only Soldier was able to use, but now all classes can. Its not overpowerred because its really tricky and situational, and it adds a whole new depth to the game. Imagine a competitive play where a medic surfs and airstrafes a rocket and stomps on a scouts head to kill him.

So Valve, PLEASE let me Goomba stomp as engie. Dont patch it.

So how do they buff the Mantreads and Thermal Thruster so that this bug doesn't make them obsolete?

Thermal Thruster : was just added and the stomp mechanic didnt work till now, it showed no signs of being osbolete.
Mantreads : recently recieved a major buff with air turn speed and airblast resistance, so mantreads will still help you goomba stomp easier.

Thermal Thruster allows Pyro immense mobility, and the Mantreads give increased air control. Both would still have their main uses remaining imo

Yea, maybe make it less powerful than the thruster and keep it.

To add though, if this bug is to be kept, I hope they remove the whizzing falling sound. Its useful for indicating your fall speed, but it can get really annoying.
