I can't get the Director's Vision!
I've been fiddling around in editor for more than an hour now, and I still have not gotten the achievement for the emote! Does someone have any suggetions as to how I can get the achievement? Thanks!

It remained 🅱️roke and was never patched

The only way to get it is using SAM aslong as you don't have TF2 or any other game open you won't get banned.

The Director's Vision can still be unlocked; you're talking about the Frontline Field Recorder.

I'd try restarting the game, going on a random, empty community server that supports replays; doing something ridiculous. Once recorded, go to the Replay menu and simply press every button and wait for a few minutes (~5-15). It *should* work, maybe the item server was under heavy load last time you've tried it.

SAM-the Steam Achievement Manager-can be used to unlock any achievement; even the bugged ones, but it's generally frowned upon since it's basically cheating. I guess no one gives a crap about the bugged ones though. Don't leave the game open or be connected to any secured servers as it can get you VAC banned.

There is also another *ahem* less illegal method to unlock the Frontline Field Recorder.
It involves hosting a local server using Python[github.com]; faking the replay file and manipulating the now deprecated youtube v2 API URL with the locally hosted address which may contain any view number. Only for the tech dudes out here!
