Report a translation problem
If you mean click it multiple times with varying time intervals (I've tried clicking it rapidly, every couple of seconds, etc), then that still doesn't work for me.
Oh well, seems like it's just me with this issue, I'll look into my files to see if there's something up with it.
I do have an autoexec file set and a few launch options (I've tried disabling the autoexec and the launch options but the in game inspection still didn't work).
Other than that and some workshop maps, I don't have anything custom in my game. All I know is that the bug began after a Steam update on Saturday I believe.
I verified integrity of game files and it did nothing.
Anyway, I'll be messing with my files. I'll post if I found a solution.
Classic valve
I actually forgot to post the solution I had when I had this issue (It's now fixed for me), but you can inspect skins by clicking the "Inspect Ingame" link when TF2 is not running. Doing so will launch TF2 and display the skin.
Even if it's on topic, I'm not sure how to fix it.
