TF2 is being flooded with bot players

Almost all of my games in TF2 in the past week have had some sort of bot in them, perfect aim as any class, can see cloaked or disguised spies. The most notable are Cat-bots, but I've started to see more and more types flooding Valve official servers, and even community servers.

These bots ruin the game for everyone, perfect aim, perfect reaction time, and what's worse is that usually they're accompanied by another bot of the same name who pocket medics them, which makes dealing with them a huge pain in the ass if the other team, or your team, is not voting to help kick them.

This issue needs to be dealt with before it gets out of hand, soon all sorts of people will be making all sorts of bots and the TF2 team needs to stomp out this behavior before it grows.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, though? For me it seems they've been growing in numbers lately, but I might just have bad luck.

Maybe this will encourage you to use community servers. Instead of Valve servers with no admin.

As stated in the post "and even community servers."

Just 2 days ago I had the same issue in a community server, and because the teams werent allowed to vote without an admin there, we had to leave the server.

Community servers aren't a safe haven, but they're at least not fully infested yet.

Ignoring the problem doesn't solve it, you say this as if ignoring them in the first place would've magically made the guy doing it not mass produce them.

Maybe not AS MUCH, but he might have even made something worse then what we're experiencing right now.

I think solving the issue instead of ignoring it would be a better alternative.

I don't see what makes them special either.

The name is just catbot, nothing else to it.

I'm not here to rant, I'm here to start a discussion on what could be done about the issue if anyone has any insight.

Also I already state that the bots have aimbot and wallhacks and are ruining the game for people, it's not just a name.

The bots aren't even that difficult to fight either because they're easy to predict and screw around with.
