just like borderlands 'new-U' system, the respawn system in TF2 doesnt exist in the actual TF2 universe.
i know its a cop out, but thats just how it is.
If there was a machine that brought people back to life in the TF2 universe, why would all these people, graymann, the administrator, and even redmund & blutrach need australium to live eternally, when a 'respawn' system would just bring them back to life.
