Why the scout death scene is ♥♥♥♥

Honestly, it's scout randomly on the ground, dying out of nowhere, then spy haas kind of an eh reaction, then I guess a cool scene, but then there was spy angry that his son is still alive. It could've been so much better is spy reacted better and it showed scout getting hurt, with a better spy aftermath.
Thoughts?

Eh, the comic was pretty good, especially medic, but that spy dad reveal scene tanked, with lack of intro and complete lack of emotion

It was a powerful and moving scene for me, since it further highlights the scout and spy's relationship and how beautiful it is. The spy's reaction felt natural, especially since he is a tsundere.

The point of it was to put suspicions to rest about them being blood related. Spy really doesn't care to much for Scout as seen in game and in the comics.

Don't get me wrong, the scene where spy holds scout was pretty good, but the spy reacting to seeing scout on the ground with a meh reaction and no intro to scout getting hurt, combined with no reaction from spy afterward made me very disappointed

It's been implied multiple times in previous comics, and the fact that they bring it up again proves the theory.

That would be like calling someone a kids dad just because they were nice to them once.

In movies when someone is dieing a lot of times people will tell them what makes them happy the most. Or they show them what makes them happy the most.

Like in one of the cowboy movies I seen long ago. These people were looking for gold but found out it was not there. The guy got shot and he asked his friend did you find the gold? And his friend lied and said yes. He asked how much there was and he said maybe millions in profit. Then his friend died there happy thinking it was real.

Thats why I love that scene. Because it makes it canon.
I even once made a thread about how the buffs and nerfs would have happened storywise, and said that spy's speed increase was probably because he had a race with Scout. That theory was my favorite theory, and now its canon.

Eh that is just Valve playing with people. Ever since people started saying stuff since the meet the spy video Valve went along with it. By the looks of it in the video the pictures were very recent as when the video took place.

Spy would of not looked the same in the video and in the pictures if they happend so many years apart.
