everyone wanted matchmaking, valve just invited some of the most experienced players to talk about the next great move time ago, they said "matchmaking" but i think nobody expected this.
Same happend when quickplay came out, Also happend when the game went free to play and also happend when they added the mann co store and special effect hats.
