Because a long-range class in a close-mid range game isn't fair.

Did I mention that he has a secondary for literally every one of his weaknesses?

Well yeah, but he can only use 1 at a time, and the Razorback is useless because spies have weapons
Also the SMG is so weak you might as well be throwing paper wads at Scouts

Either you're useless (like me!) or you're a god and you make medic mains (like me!) cry.

Well, obviously the Razorback is useless when you're completely alone and hardscoping. And of course you could always pop off two shots with your primary then use the SMG assuming he let's you live that long. If at least one teammate is nearby Karate guarantees an assist..

Here lemme put in something. Sniper sightlines? This is why you need to put eyes in the back of your head in tf2. Sniper sightlines are marked with a team colored, glowing light. You gotta watch out for that. If you see it, trace it back to where he is hiding. Constantly jiggle around so he can't line up a direct hit in the face. Take him out. You have to be aware. I know 2fort snipers can be annoying because of the size of the map, but there is always a way to combat them. There are all types of anti-sniper metas to try! You just have to experiment.

So basically, they only apply in VERY specific circumstances

They all have their moments and not all are extremely rare..

I don't like them, mainly because going against them takes a lot of fun out of them game if they're THAT good at sniper (you know, the ones that rarely miss a headshot on fast moving targets)

a reason for that is there's few ways to deal with a good sniper as they can do A LOT of damage before you can get to them (because with 12 v 12 it's hard to sneak past enemy lines when not a spy if the enemy is doing an average job)

I can understand skill and good sniping isn't easy, but man when you're against one, 1 guy just makes the game a real pain to play against.
Because a class that can kill you from 5 miles away in a game where every other class is made for close to medium range is not fair, and a lot of them have egos the size of jupiter.

Not to mention them going Sniper when we DONT NEED 6 F*CKING SNIPERS.

Sniper mains I just see as being players which are just selfish and only seek kills. It rewards such a linnear playstyle and makes it so that they can kick back from a distance because most weapons besides sniper rifles are borderline useless. The only thing they need to worry about is spies but half of Sniper's secondaries are spy counters. Besides that the one thing I generally hate about Sniper in general is the Machina and DDS. (Seriously ♥♥♥♥ those weapons)
