Cant import sprays

My VTF i got off gamebanana wont import. So i put it in Logos and tryed opening it however when i opened it the in-game File reader or whatever its called closed and i still have no spray, am i doing something wrong or is it the game?

No message, it just closed also the filesize is 350 KB is that the problem?

I FIXED IT, turns out you put it in the first tf2 folder now! Well thanks for the help anyway!

You have to put the image file into the tf folder, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf otherwise it will cause an error trying to create a temporary file.

Torchiest. It shows up in the correct file, I've even put it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf! It does not work

refrain from bumping dated threads in the future

drag and drop the .vtf and .vmt files in

steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\materials\vgui\logos

and restart tf2

if you're importing .jpg files, don't, because they often tend to have errors when importing; use vtfedit to turn them into .vtf and .vmt files

Just import sprays from your temp folder, which stores everything players have sprayed in all visited servers

sprays were a mistake
