I personally think the dot (crosshair 5) is the best one for the sniper rifle because when the dot covers the head, you know it will hit. No unneeded details such as crosses or lines. Just a simple dot.

The red gives me an idea where it is and the outline makes sure i don't have a too hard time looking for it

Dude crosshairs are about as personal preferernce as something can get in video games. There's no best one. Try a bunch and figure out what you like.
