And yes, i can confirm it loads much faster than my old PC (that used an HDD)
If you were to install only the OS on the SSD, then of course you will not experience more FPS or even better loading times. Although sometimes downloading the game on the SSD can give more FPS, but it's generally not noticeable.
If you were to install Team Fortress 2 on a SSD, chances are that you will receive a minimal FPS boost but loading times will be significantly improve. Example, joining an online game and there will be a tremendously boring loading screen. If you installed TF2 on the SSD, then that loading screen is going to be faster than usual.

Recovering TF2 and Steam files.....
PS: Boot time now takes 18 secs
