shortstop: mid-long range
backscatter: flanking
baby faces blaster: hit n' run?
force a nature: good if you want knock back and damage
soda popper: mobility
soda popper if youre getting ass blasted by sollies
The backscatter is almost a direct downgrade to the stock. Less shots, less accuracy for... A little bit of extra damage for hitting someone in the back? I know this can be useful for flanking, but the downsides outweigh the good.
The force-a-nature is really good itself, but you need to get used to it. I'd still suggest the stock over this one.
The baby face's blaster is just... It's okay, if it didn't punish you for using the mobility Scout was literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ designed for.
But for a good all-rounder reliable scattergun that you can trust in most situations the stock is the way to go.
Stock- all around versatile weapon good for all situations
Force a Nature- very powerful but unstable due to knock back, more better if used on defense
Soda Popper- more stable than FAN, excellent dps since it reloads faster than FAN, I'd say if you can't control the FAN's knock back use this one though it can be also good with offense but stock outclasses it when your on offense
Shortstop- technically not a scatter gun (it's actually a pepper gun) if your tired of using stock or you don't like getting close up to enemies then use this since it does wonders at mid range (you gotta be good at aiming if you wanna see good damage potential from this since the hitscan radius is smaller than other scatter guns)
Baby face blaster- not very good since although the boost you get is awesome, you lose it if you lose 25 HEALTH!!! and since its magazine is smaller than stock well... yep. Use it if you feel daring
Back Scatter- worst scatter gun never use it it's ♥♥♥♥
Nail gun- the most OP primary for scout it was so OP that valve removed it! R.I.P. Nail gun
