What's the point in having alt accounts?

I once knew a guy who supposedly had 32 alts, 17 of which for CS:GO. I mean, unless you're planning on hacking on all of them (which is still pretty scummy), why do you need alts? Why not do everything on your original account?

I have an alternative created years ago, and my reason for it was to follow my then girlfriend into pubs to kill her

Sometimes with competitive stuff they can make a alt account and then get the lowest rank even though they would be the BEST rank in the game.

According to some people, I have an alt so I can go on mvm, play as an edgy huntsman sniper, get kicked and ask people to report my main because muh autism.

in LoL or CSGO alts give you basically free dodges

have ♥♥♥♥ terammates ? just switch accounts and let one get a 2 hour or 24 hour ban , dont use that one for a week so it gets lowered again

and for lol you can dodge if theres already lots of flaming in champ select

You tell me. I made this alt years ago to ♥♥♥♥ with friends. Only using it now since I left my phone at a friend's and it'll take a few days to get it back since I don't have the time to drive there right now.
