Why do people hate skial servers so much?
I play a lot of skial servers, mostly since it has slightly more skilled players than casual and it plays maps that arnt idle and trade.

Personally I think skial is a good community and has fair rules and gets rid of hackers way better than casual does.

So why do people dislike them? I'm sure people have a good reason, I'm just not sure what it is.

Not sure, I've heard from a few friends that they saw a ♥♥♥♥ ton of porn there.

Well that's a given with any community server and you can disable sprays of things like that offend you

Now that's a fair reason, although personally I don't get advertisements since I have a addblocker mod.

I only ever played on their one deathrun server. Everyone on their knew each other and server was almost always full, so I guess that's an exception.

I've heard from other people that just about every other server from Skial are unpopulated wastelands that take up the server browser, and that's not surprising.

EDIT: Also, I never got advertisements on said server.

I was pretty sure that you can't lock them
Also don't they have promotor bonuses?

Hmm I've never seen an empty skial server, but I guess I always stick to 32 person barnblitz or upward

Also, don't Skial servers have promotor bonuses?
Promoter bonuses only give you god mode at the end of rounds (so you don't die in victory time) and trails but other than that, nothing that affects gameplay

Hmm I've never seen an empty skial server, but I guess I always stick to 32 person barnblitz or upward
When I used to play TF2, I would open the server browser looking for servers to play on, and occasionally I would scroll past dozens of abandoned 2fort and DustbowlSkial servers that had nobody, or at most one or two, online.

They probbaly played on something like Saxton Hale of 24/7 2Fort and thought ALL of Skial is same...

Until you get your ears raped, because the same THIS SERVER IS SPONSORED BY WEBSITE.TF GO AND TRY IT! plays for the thousand time, and you get banned by some abusive admin.

Skial has a broken rebalance system that makes enemies apear on your team, makes enemies invisible, and can freak out and instantly change your team while fighting without respawning you. Skial also has ads, but you can just turn them off.
