Does the program f.lux (or Flux) count as a hack for VAC?
I'm using the program f.lux (or flux) on my PC now, i wanna know if it does detect as a hack for TF2 or any of the source games. The program is basically a color changing app for windows, it changes the colors at night so it doesnt hurt my eyes that much. But i wanna know if i'm safe from an accidental VAC ban, and if people with the same program is safe too. Thanks for the help.

If the program does not insert anything into tf2s engine you should be fine

yeah, i added a second link.
the programs in the first link will most likely only clash with VAC causing few problems but not actual bans, the stuff in the second link will probably trigger a ban
I'll check it out.

Well the program doesn't change any textures or game files, so i should be good. :)

Better safe than sorry with VAC, I recommend you to dont use it... vac can ban you for nothing and everything and you will NEVER be unbanned even if VAC banned you for "nothing" (by nothing I mean a program who's not a cheat/hack but who's counted as cheat by VAC.).

1) The user who said theyll ban you for anything is confused, unless it is editing TF2 files in some way (which I am 99% sure flux does not) you will be fine, and 2) It might be a good idea to start up tf2 on an alt with flux running and see what happens, better safe than sorry
