How to switch teams

How do you switch teams in console? The button that i have switch teams bind to does not work.Also when I bind it to another key it still does not work.Is there a way to switch teams through the command console?

every key on my keyboard works, it's just that the switch teams don't work.

I find it dumb that you can’t switch teams in casual. Comp, I could understand, but bloody casual?!
Even CS Casual has switching teams enabled.

Normally you use . to change teams, but in community servers. Casual doesn't work.

That’s because VALVe doesn’t want people on the losing team to get some glory by joining the winning one.
On most occasions, I’m on the losing team.
