Team Fortress 2

Friend has low microphone input volume ingame, teamspeak, discord, skype and any other program is fine.
She has a Corsair Gaming H1500 headset
Things that we have tried already are:
Changing volume in recording devices
Boosting mic volume
Disabling and enabling Microphone while in game
Unplugging mic, getting to a server then replugging mic
Reinstalled audio drivers for her specific laptop
Installed drivers for her headphones
Changed sv_voicecodec to 1 and 0 multiple times

Any help would be nice. This has been happening ever since the CELT Voice Codec came in.

1. Why couldn't your friend make this thread

2.From the list of what you tried. It doesn't seem like you tried actually changing the input volume in the options menu.

Did you try changing it in the computer options menu?

Yes we did, we went to recording devices, maxed the volume + with/without boost.
The Communications tab also has "Do nothing"

Idk then. Maybe it's the mic itself.

She would rather not, since its pretty expensive and it works on everything else, this is an issue with tf2's codecs
