Scout: Does it Need More Health?
So I'm not going to say who, but I ran into a guy online who thinks scout needs 150 base health instead of 125 base health for the following reasons:

1. All the other "Offense" Classes have at least 150 base health.
2. It takes the same number of grenades, rockets, headshots, and etc. to kill.
3. It will allow them to deal with mini sentries, survive afterburn more easily, and be able to deal with Natasha more Easily

Me personally I think Scout is already good as it is and doesn't need a health buff, but what do you guys think? And explain why if you can. Specifically addressing the 3 points.

Scout used to be able to get 150 base hp with the old Milkman set bonus.

I do not want that to happen ever again.

No. Scout is supposed to dodge damage anyway.

I think whoever told you that Scout needs 150 base health needs to get better at playing said class.

OH GOD NO.

Nah, Scout is just a class that's easily punished due to the fact he's the only class on or near the frontline with a 125 healthpool.

Why is this even a discussion? Do we need the Scout to be harder to kill?

A good scout can be hard to kill as is. Increasing his health pool would just unbalance him as a class.

So the answer from me is no... He is the fastest on the map, so he should be able to reach a healthpack, spawn room, despincer, or medic faster than the other classes. A good scout kiting the level will stay alive longer than a soldier. As far as taking out a mini sentry, or any sentry for that matter, not really his job. It is TEAM fortress 2.... If he wants to drink a bonk, and distract a sentry for his team to knock out he can, or he can run through a killzone and to the next health pack. Pistol it down from long range if possible. Cut off the Engineer from his buildings so he can't repair. Play to the classes strengths, not buff a class to make up for your percieved weakness.

No, there's no need for scout to be 1 shotted by pipes, rockets, ambassador headshots and lucksman arrows...
