I have a scout friend who uses the mouse wheel scrolling to jump. Its really weird but for him it works

In that case you would be binding it to mwheelup or/and mwheeldown, because mouse3 only applies to pressing the middle button/wheel.

Since bhopping is virtually impossible in TF2, that's not a big issue even with the mousewheel. It might even be detrimental to Scouts if you have a weak-enough wheel.

But you wouldn't get those with a simple airstrafe jump. You should notice that every single of those jumps needed a bhop run-up since the bhop preserves momentum to a degree.

only three of the jumps shown are strafejumps
you can't make most of the jumps without bhopping, you're welcome to try
