My only theory is that you have been stopped due to the divine intervention of God himself.
Anyway, to actually be helpful to you. Your spray's size cannot exceed 512x512 pixels.
If your vtf file is greater than 512KB, reduce de animation size to 256x256. If it still is greater than 512KB, I'm sure it has a lot of frames.
Did you try to import it directly from in-game? Or you placed the files in a wrong folder, maybe?
In case you wanna make an animated spray I'd recommend you use 256x256 or 128x128 and stick to not more than 6 frames at best.
Uh anyways, a spray with 300kb should work. Maybe you're doing something wrong.
Don't use the internal import for animated sprays.
Place the .vtf and .vmt in tf\materials\vgui\logos and the game automatically detects it the next time you launch the game.
If it doesn't work, create a folder named ui inside logos and put them there too.
Launch the game and check if it appears in the list. No need to use the import option.
