Team Fortress 2
Is Mann vs Machine dead?
Mann vs Machine is one of the things that make TF2 unique from other shooters. It gives the classic zombie gameplay, and make it a twist. Recently however, I have seen people talking about this gamemode and say it is dying. As well as less people playing the game. So to sum it up, in your opinion is Mann vs Machine Still good, or is it dead?

Its still possible to get together some competent people for advanced in boot camp but idk about tours. I stay away from that because i fear getting yelled at despite knowing what im doing

Yeah, mean people hurt feelings, feel bad
It's still a great mode, just needs an update.

As long as you are doing your job, you should be good unless you get the screeching definition-of-cancer metard on your team.

It's been dead for years now, thanks to constant neglect by Valve. They made Expert, then refused to release anything else remotely on that level of difficulty. Instead they continued to release mission sets that shower you with enough money to max out all resistances and your primary, while spamming canteens.

It's no wonder people got bored of being forced to play Advanced if they want the best possible chance at good loot.

If you call out that you can't find it, or ask where it is, then you've done everything possible and most people won't hold it against you.

If you ask for help and they don't give it to you, they're not people you'd want to continue with anyways so them voting you off is more of a favor then anything.

That's what I mean. There are some people who will always expect the Scout to get every little scrap of money, even if the team gets destroyed and loses ground. As for the pick-it-up part, my rule is if I'm dead or not around, and you see cash, GET IT.

not entirely. some campaigns have very few players on them, i.e mecha engine and steel trap, but there is a large amount of players still in two cities or gear grinder, mostly for that slim chance of getting a diamond botkiller or aussie.

I have hell a lot of fun on MvM, especially when doing hart tours and earning items.

It just needs an update, come on, Valve!

You can still have a blast partying up with friends, but otherwise, it's dead.
